Public Management Conference on September 13rd, 2011 in Frankfurt/Main

This year also, the Public Management Conference with many top-class expert rounds and discussion sessions will be held on 13.09.2011 in Frankfurt am Main.
The questions of public institutions management and public sector design are again embedded in a further intensified financial situation of the public sector.
The impacts of the Euro crisis and the demographic change as well as the development in energy sector demand innovative trade with resource-awareness.
Central aspects of the conference this year are: Challenge of demographic change to the public sector, urban finance management – also in context of the Euro crisis- and public infrastructure plans.

The conference addresses representatives of the federal ministries, cities (mayors, treasurers, department heads, etc.), local companies and also decision makers of the private economy.

Executive Management Forum PPP Hamburg, 31.03.2011>.

It was opened and presented by Rudolf Scharping, the CEO of RSBK GmbH.

Representatives like Hans Randl, the Leader of the Control Center PPP at the

revenue authority of the Free and Hanseatic city of Hamburg, informed about

progress and prospects of current PPP projects for the region of North Germany.

Chinese delegation trip, 6th -10th. December 2010.

A delegation of Chinese companies and top officials visited Germany from

6th to 10th, December 2010. Apart from “The First Innovation and Development

Forum of China-Europe Middle and Small Enterprises”, company presentations

and business meetings are also key points of the visit. The trip included meetings

with Thuringia Minister-President, Ministers for Economics of Hesse,

Rhineland-Palatinate and Thuringia, representatives of federal state government

of Berlin as well as mayors of concerned cities. The trip is jointly organized and

hosted by RSBK GmbH together with „CECC - China Economic Cooperation Center”

and “CAPPC - China Association of Productivity Promotion Centers”.

2nd Public Management Conference - September 21st - September 22nd, 2010 in Frankfurt/Main
The 2nd Public Management Conference took place on September 21st - September 22nd, 2010 in Frankfurt. It was held in co-operation with the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management at their location in Frankfurt and at the Frankfurt Römer. More than 200 participants discussed the current problems of local finance management, the modernization of administration processes, the management of universities and colleges, and "ubanity - mobility and energy". On 4 May 2010 an Executive Management Forum PPP was held in Weimar.
The forum was organized by RSBK GmbH in cooperation with the Behörden Spiegel. The event was supported by the Thuringian Ministry of Construction, State Development and Transport and the Construction Association of Hessen-Thüringen e.V.
The forum was opened and presented by Rudolf Scharping, the CEO of RSBK GmbH. Executive Management Forum PPP in Munich, 25.03.10

An Executive Management Forum PPP was held on 25th March 2010 at the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft in Munich. The forum was organized by RSBK GmbH in cooperation with the Behörden Spiegel. Representatives in Munich were:

Executive Management Forum PPP, 18.11.09 at the Kurhaus Wiesbaden

The goal of the Executive Management Forum PPP is to clear the reservation against Public Private Partnership, to introduce examples of Best Practices and to show new perspectives.

The participants are decision makers of politics, economy and especially local representatives.

The forum will be opened and presented by Rudolf Scharping. Furthermore Dr. Helmut Müller, the Lord Mayor of Hesse's Capital Wiesbaden and Jens Markus Offermann, leader of the PPP Centre of Expertise Hesse of Hessian's Ministry of Finance, will report about the status and the outlook of the actual PPP-projects.

The participation is free of charge for participants of public authorities. The number of participants is limited.

13th World Lake Conference, 1-5 November 2009, Wuhan, P.R. of China

The 13th World Lake Conference took place in Wuhan City of Hubei Provine/ P.R. of China on 1-5 November 2009. The Conference was organized by Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences (CSES), Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences, Wuhan Municipal Government, International Lake Environment Committee Foundation (ILEC) and stands under the auspices of the Chinese Federal Ministry of Environmental Protection.

The World Lake Conference is an authoritative academic conference in order to promote the results and relevant policies of China in lake environmental protection and management as well as science and research, to expand the influence of Chinese environmental works on the international environmental protection fields, to use advanced achievements and successful experiences in lake study and management internationally, to enhance the communication level of China in scientific technologies of lake environmental protection, to strengthen innovation ability of China in the sector and boost water pollution control work in China.

For the first time, an exhibition also took place presenting the topics of water management and technical equipment. RSBK was assigned by the conference hosts to assist German companies who’d like to deepen their engagement in the Chinese Environmental and Water Sewage market.

1st Public Management Conference – 6th  July 2009 in Frankfurt/Main

The first Public Management Conference was held in co-operation with the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management at their location in Frankfurt on the 6th July 2009.

More than 200 participants discussed the current problems of the public budget. The guests who arrived the night before the event had the possibility of networking while having dinner at the Hotel Intercontinental over the roofs of Frankfurt. 

Medial support was given by the daily press Financial Times Deutschland, the weekly newspaper DIE ZEIT, and the monthly paper for the public service Behörden Spiegel. We would like to thank all participants for their attention and for the lively discussions and the excellent feedback. We are looking forward for further suggestions, to make the performance as interesting as possible.

Global Think Tank Summit July 2nd – July 4th, 2009

Rudolf Scharping, managing partner of RSBK GmbH, met China’s Prime Minister Wen Jiabao during the Global Think Tank Summit, which took place on July 2 to 4 in Beijing. Besides, he also met with Vice Premier Minister Li Keqiang, former Vice Premier Minister Zeng Peiyan and other personalities from Chinese politics and economy. German Business Forum to P.R. of China

A delegation of entrepreneurs visited the People’s Republic of China from June 11 until 18 in 2009. RSBK and its partner, the China Economic Cooperation Center, accompanied the participants on a fact-finding-tour to Beijing, Shenyang and Dalian in the Northeast of China. Currently, despite a difficult economic environment German enterprises can benefit on the Chinese market from their high technological standards and their know-how. The participating companies were introduced to the country’s economical and political facts. Furthermore, they met with important Chinese institutions and potential business partners. The main focus of the tour was on environmental engineering and clean technologies including related industrial and business areas. Furthermore, a meeting with Sigmar Gabriel, German Federal Minister for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, took place in Shenyang in context of a common Forum on sustainable industrial politics.

 

 

New RSBK office in Dubai opened!

On February 19th 2009 the new office of RSBK Middle East in Al Barsha, Dubai, was officially opened. A celebration was held with the shareholders, employees, customers and other guests. In an inspiring speech Mr. Rudolf Scharping pointed out the various areas of expertise of RSBK Middle East as well as its partners and the entire network, stretching from Europe in the West to China in the East. The guests from Europe, Africa and several GCC nations from both private enterprises and the public sector gave a good insight to the idea building the foundation of RSBK. Bringing people of the various fields of expertise together to reach a common target on the shortest and most effective way.

Mr. Benjamin Nabert pointed out that the Dubai Branch of RSBK will as of now become an active member of the RSBK network with a wide range of services offered to the customers. This will not only include services for European customers looking for an entry into the markets in the GCC region but also customers from the GCC region looking for a market entry in Europe.
